My Story
I’m Gerard Anthony, the creative mind behind LoKi Creative Studio. My work lives at the place where storytelling meets stillness, where design meets emotion, where a single frame can say what words never could. Photography came first as a way to understand the world: the light, the color, the silence before a moment turns into memory. Over time, it became my language. Today, it shapes everything I create, from intimate portraits and love stories to atmospheric travel films and visual identities for brands finding their voice.

Before opening my studio, I led campus dining marketing at Seton Hall University and Montclair State University as Senior Marketing Manager for Gourmet Dining. I built brand identities like the 1908 Pub and the LIFE Stations, refined the EATS brand into a visual system the company continues to use, and guided a team of marketers, videographers, and creatives. I also worked closely with the marketing teams at Grubhub, Yella’s, Starbucks, Red Bull, and a wide range of national and local vendors, coordinating campaigns, launches, promotions, and campus activations across both universities. It taught me something simple but important, the story always comes first, but the strategy behind it matters just as much.

My photographic style is cinematic, natural, and quietly intentional. I look for the emotion beneath the surface, the way light moves across skin or water or stone, the way color shifts with atmosphere. Whether I’m documenting a couple in an honest moment, creating a brand film, or designing visuals for a small business, my goal is to craft images that feel lived in, not staged; elevated, not artificial.

My work has also grown through the partnerships I’ve built. I photographed WildGo, an eyewear company based in Spain, creating images used in their launch into the US market. I’ve produced imagery for Levivel, a semi-luxury brand under Ruyi, capturing their clean, refined aesthetic. I’ve shot seasonal campaigns and promotional visuals for Live Freely, an affordable jewelry brand known for beaded bracelets and delicate earrings. And after working for Tia’s Food of Love as a catering attendant years ago, I’ve continued that relationship in a full-circle way — now photographing and filming their culinary brand for online promotion. These projects taught me how to translate a brand’s personality into visual storytelling that feels authentic and intentional.

Travel has shaped my eye as much as any classroom or studio. I’ve watched the sun rise over Padar Island, wandered through the rice fields of Ubud, stood above the lakes of São Miguel, climbed the viewpoints of Madeira, and crossed through Portugal, Aruba, Canada, the Caribbean, and cities across the US. Each place brought its own palette, its own rhythm, its own way of teaching me how to see. I carry those lessons into every session and every edit.

LoKi Creative Studio is the home for all of this: the color, the technique, the emotion, the stories. I built it for people and brands who want visuals that feel thoughtful and real, who want cinematic imagery without losing authenticity, who want a creator who listens as closely as he directs.
If you’re ready to tell your story with depth, clarity, and intention, I’d love to create something unforgettable with you.
